On 14 May 2026, the partners gathered in Athens, Greece, for the project’s second transnational meeting, kindly hosted by Academy of Entrepreneurship (AKEP).
The meeting represented another important milestone for the partnership, bringing together organisations from across Europe to continue working towards a more sustainable future in Vocational Education and Training (VET), particularly in the culinary and food education sector.
During the meeting, partners engaged in fruitful and constructive discussions, reviewing the progress achieved so far and coordinating the next phases of the project. Special attention was dedicated to the development of the SustainaKit Handbook and Toolkit, two innovative educational resources that will support teachers, trainers, and learners in integrating sustainability principles into everyday educational practice.
Partners also explored together the future development of the project’s online platform, which will soon be enriched with new content, learning modules, and educational resources accessible to teachers and students across Europe. The digital platform will play a key role in promoting collaboration, accessibility, and innovation within sustainable VET education.
The Athens meeting further strengthened the collaboration among partners and reaffirmed the consortium’s shared commitment to empowering educators and learners with the skills and tools needed for a more sustainable future.
